Private Wheel Throwing Workshop for Two People

Who is this workshop for?

This private wheel throwing workshop is perfect if you would like to share a creative experience with someone or give someone a unique experience as a gift. It is suitable for anyone who is curious about working with clay and no previous experience is needed.

You’ll start with a short introduction to the ceramic process and basic wheel throwing techniques, followed by time to create your own cup, bowl or small vase on the pottery wheel.

With personal guidance throughout the workshop, you’ll have the support you need while still having the freedom to experiment and work at your own pace.

Additional information

The workshop includes:

• Personal guidance throughout the workshop
• All clay, glaze and materials
• Finishing, glazing and firing of your handmade pieces
• Two firings to complete the ceramic process
• Coffee and tea during the workshop

After the workshop, you will choose up to two of your handmade pieces to be finished, glazed and fired by me. Your finished ceramics will be ready approximately 6–8 weeks later. You can collect them from the studio or have them shipped to your home (shipping costs not included).

No previous experience with clay is needed.

What do you need?

Wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in and that may get a little dirty. If you have an apron or a small towel for your hands, feel free to bring it along.

You don’t need to prepare anything. Everything you need for the workshop will be ready for you in the studio.
